The women of the cooperative have been lovingly working with cacao for over 15 years and transforming it into beautiful cacao and chocolate products of the highest quality. It's 100% cacao (no sugar added) so use it in all of your favorite drinks and dishes– savory, sweet, and everything in between– for a delightful treat!
How We Use This: In our rich mole negro recipe (the way it was intended), mixed with hot water or favorite milk for a sugar-free and energy boosting cup in the morning (in lieu of coffee or tea), and in all of our desserts that require the highest quality of cacao.

I love that this single origin artisanal cacao powder keeps the cacao whole, meaning, it does not remove the cocoa butter, which is also called the theobroma oil. This naturally occurning butter/oil is what enhances the flavor of chocolate. The taste and aroma are superior than any other cacao powder you will find on the shelves. I love making my own hot chocolate and also adding it to smoothies. So flavorful and delicious!
